Postdoctoral research position in Integrability in Budapest, starting September 2023:
We are announcing a postdoctoral researcher position in Budapest, in the MTA-ELTE ,,Momentum’’ Integrable quantum dynamics research group, led by Balázs Pozsgay. For information about the group see our homepage 6vertex.elte.hu/index.html.

The postdoc will work together with the PI and other members of the group on open problems regarding equilibrium and non-equilibrium dynamics of integrable models, with applications to the AdS/CFT correspondence.
Applicants with research experience in theoretical condensed matter physics (in connection with integrable models) will have an advantage in the selection process. Applicants who have experience with integrable models in high energy physics (integrable QFT’s and/or AdS/CFT) are also welcome, if they have interest in condensed matter applications of integrability. The position is funded by the ,,Momentum’’ program of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
Duration: 2 years, from September 2023 to August 2025.
Host Institute: Department of Theoretical Physics, Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest.
Deadline for application: 20. November. 2022.

FAPESP Positions at ICTP-SAIFR
The ICTP South American Institute for Fundamental Research (ICTP-SAIFR) announces the opening of 1 FAPESP postdoctoral position to begin in 2022 in the area of quantum field theory/string theory. The fellowships are part of the “São Paulo Excellence Chair” FAPESP Program and the physicist Pedro Vieira is the main researcher of this project.
The IFT-UNESP has a strong string theory group with further faculty Nathan Berkovits, Horatiu Nastase and Andrei Mikhailov whom the candidate will be welcome to interact with, and the neighbouring university USP also has a very strong quantum fields and string community, making Sao Paulo a vibrant research location in such topics.
The FAPESP postdoctoral fellowships pay an annual tax-free salary of 88,500 Brazilian reais as well as moving costs and 13,275 Brazilian reais/year for travel and research expenses. The selected candidate must reside in Sao Paulo for the duration of the fellowship. Postdocs will also receive ICTP-SAIFR funds to invite visitors and organize events as soon as in-person activities are allowed.
Review of applications will begin in January 2022 and will continue until the position has been filled. Although there is no strict deadline, applications before December 31, 2021 are strongly recommended for positions to begin in 2022.
